Purdue ACT traveled to the Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis on Nov. 13 to prepare a meal at the Ronald McDonald House as part of the community service initiative. The group cooked a meal for six family members of critically ill children who were in Riley Hospital . The families were very grateful for the home-cooked meals because it is rare that they have time to cook for themselves. The Purdue ACT is taking another trip to the Ronald McDonald House to prepare another meal on Dec. 4.

The Oklahoma State University ACT chapter is off to another successful year. Members kicked off the school year with fun activities at the ACT/CFFA Cookout at Couch Park . More than 100 students, faculty and family members attended the event. Returning students and faculty got an opportunity to catch up on summer events, and new students became acquainted with each other, returning members and faculty. Students and faculty also faced-off in games of horseshoes and volleyball. [read more]
